Installation

Your illuminated house number comes with all the necessary wiring to be plugged into a standard receptacle.

As with any outdoor lighting fixture “Lit House Numbers” recommends that your product be installed by a qualified electrician.  Electricians can figure out the best way to hide wires for a permanent and professional look.

For easy DO-IT-YOURSELF care-free automatic nighttime lighting

  1. Simply plug in the provided waterproof power supply in line with the day and night sensor so that your LED’s illuminate at night and turn off in the morning.
  2. If using the supplied cords they can be painted, taped, or tucked into siding to blend in with your home.

Mounting

Your house number comes with either a hanging wire or upgraded French Cleat for mounting to most locations on your home.  If you’re in a high wind area and did not upgrade to a French cleat, we recommend you purchase one on amazon.

If you have the hanging wire and a flat surface like wood, brick, or trim use a screw with a large head or washer.

If you choose the French cleat simply screw into your home with 2 screws.

If your house has siding or board and batten that is not flat we recommend you first attach a board to the siding to extend the surface to an equal distance to mount the French cleat, this way your frame will sit flush to your home.

If using brick we recommend using anchors.
